Licensed, family-owned service for Gulf Coast homes and yards. We treat every home like our own — and we've been doing it since 1997.

Some lawns need more than fertilizer and weed control. Compacted soil, thin turf, and bare spots can hold your yard back no matter how well you water and mow. That's where EnSec's specialty lawn services come in.
We offer aeration, top dressing with Mirimichi Green, and sod and plug installation across the Florida Panhandle and coastal Alabama. Family-owned since 1997, we treat every lawn like our own.
Aeration pulls up small cores of soil across your lawn. This opens the ground so oxygen, water, and nutrients can reach the roots, breaks up compacted soil, reduces thatch, and encourages thick new growth. We recommend an aeration treatment once a year for the best results.
Florida and Alabama soils are often sandy or clay-heavy — not the easiest place to grow a lush lawn. Our top dressing service applies Mirimichi Green, a prepared soil mix, to the surface of your lawn. It won't hurt your existing grass, but it will reduce thatch, improve nutrient retention, balance pH, and introduce beneficial microbes that make your lawn stronger and better looking.
Bare spots and renovation projects call for new grass. For areas larger than a few feet across, we recommend sod; plugs are ideal for small bare spots. We work only with quality grass vendors so your new turf gets off to a strong start. Sod installation is not available in July and August — the summer heat puts new grass at too much risk. Depending on your yard, we may apply an herbicide two weeks before installation to clear out old grass and weeds.
You don't have to diagnose it yourself. We'll inspect your lawn, explain what we find, and recommend the right service. For the best results, pair these services with our Healthy Lawn Program. Call or text for a free estimate — FL 850-474-4000 or AL 251-210-7263.
Once a year for most Gulf Coast lawns. Annual aeration keeps soil loose so roots can grow deep and grass stays thick.
Top dressing spreads a thin layer of prepared soil — we use Mirimichi Green — over your existing lawn. It improves the soil underneath without harming the grass you already have.
Most of the year. We skip July and August because the summer heat puts new sod at too much risk of failure.
Sod is best for bare areas larger than a few feet across. Plugs work well for small bare spots. We'll recommend the right fit when we look at your lawn.
